Trees for Salmon

Join us on November 21st, 2026 at Trees for Salmon - an educational event focused on learning through art. This event is part of the Salmon Celebration Day festivities centered in Carkeek Park.

The event will take place from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Seattle Public Utilities' Cedar City Tree Care Facility.

We invite you to experience the Cedar City Tree Care Facility through creative and community-based activities such as:

• Salmon-Themed Crafts to encourage community and creativity.
• Discovering the Creek that runs beneath our neighborhood nursery!
• Learning how planting trees improves water quality and habitat for salmon.
• Touring the Cedar City Tree Care Facility! Connect with Trees for Neighborhoods Staff from Seattle Public Utilities for information on planting a tree at your home.

After celebrating the importance of trees with us, hop on the shuttle and enjoy the Salmon Celebration at Carkeek Park!
