EarthCorps named ‘Team of Champions’ by Seahawks and Boeing
In celebration, EarthCorps welcomes Seahawks Legend Marcus Trufant for a site visit to learn more about EarthCorps’ mission and impact in the community.

Seattle, WA, September 26, 2025 – EarthCorps is thrilled to be named the Seahawks’ Team of Champions powered by Boeing. In celebration of this prestigious recognition, EarthCorps welcomed Seahawks Legend Marcus Trufant to its Magnuson-based office, where he toured the facility, learned about key projects, met with staff, and heard firsthand about the impact of EarthCorps’ work in advancing environmental justice and climate resilience.
EarthCorps is a Seattle-based environmental nonprofit that cultivates leaders and community partnerships to advance environmental justice. Standing at the forefront of the global environmental movement, the organization collaborates to restore habitats, prevent erosion and water contamination, tackle pollution and biodiversity loss, and address systemic issues by improving public health through environmental viability. The organization creates hands-on and paid opportunities to develop and implement comprehensive strategies that mitigate climate challenges, lay the groundwork for sustainable careers, and build equity and livability for both people and planet.

Team of Champions is a special program created in partnership between the Seahawks and Boeing to celebrate impactful leaders in the community. Seahawks Manager of Corporate Partnerships Kelsea Willenbrock states: “As a driving force for positive change, your organization has earned this recognition, and we’re excited to honor your contributions in a truly memorable way.”
Next month, the Seahawks will recognize EarthCorps during halftime at their home game on October 5th versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
