Stand With EarthCorps | A Message From Our Board President

To the EarthCorps Community,

We are writing to you today with urgency and resolve.

Late Friday evening, EarthCorps received devastating news:

The federal government has terminated all AmeriCorps grants in Washington State—effective immediately.

Their abrupt decision stripped away essential funding for 32 dedicated EarthCorps members who began their service just a few months ago. These young leaders woke up to find their jobs gone, their plans upended, and their commitment to our environment suddenly hanging in the balance.

This is not just a funding cut.

It’s a direct blow to EarthCorps’ work to restore ecosystems and build the next generation of environmental champions. And we refuse to let it stand.

Today, we are calling on you—our community—to rally with us.

Your donation will help EarthCorps retain its Corps in 2025 and ensure that our critical work for a stronger, greener future continues. We must act quickly—and we must act together.

For over 30 years, EarthCorps and AmeriCorps have partnered to launch more than 1,000 young leaders into careers of lasting impact—as researchers, agency leaders, conservationists, and advocates across the world.

The current administration may call our mission “no longer a priority.”

We say it matters now more than ever.

Help us keep EarthCorps’ mission—and these young leaders’ dreams—alive.

If you are able to give a larger gift—through a grant, stock transfer, donor-advised fund, or other means—please reach out directly to our Director of Development, Mark Clark, at mark@earthcorps.org

We are not giving up.
We are standing strong.
We are moving forward.
And with your support—we will rise stronger than ever.

Thank you for standing with EarthCorps.

In solidarity and hope,
