This year, we’re giving YOU the opportunity to bid on epic EarthCorps experiences through our Get Adventure silent auction. There are so many ways to support our work AND have a blast doing so.

Retreat on the Sunshine Coast
At EarthCorps, we work hard day in and day out, but we also find endless value in rest and reflection. Our corps members participate in multiple retreats throughout to year to recharge, renew, and come together as a community. Now is your chance to take the ultimate retreat to the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia. For three nights, enjoy the ever changing beauty of the Malaspina Straight and nearby Texada Island from this recently built off-the-grid cottage. Fully self-sustaining, this “green” house runs off solar panels, yet still feels like the luxury home it is. The house has two bedrooms with private bathrooms and comfortably sleeps four.

Extreme Garden Makeover
Looking to transform your yard or garden but need a few extra hands? We can help! EarthCorps is ready to give your garden a makeover in just four hours! One of our Corps members will dazzle you with their project management skills as they help identify the best way to tackle your yard. A team of four EarthCorps staff and corps members will come to your home for a morning (four hours) of weeding, gardening or yard work. You supply the overgrown yard, we’ll bring the tools and power to spruce it up! Weekday only.

Paddle On
Row your support! Grab your paddles and join EarthCorps on a guided kayak tour for 8. Gain new insights into the importance of shoreline restoration as you explore the Duwamish, Seattle’s only river with EarthCorps’ experts. Enjoy a day on the water as you learn more about the flora, fauna, and history of the region from this unique perspective. Trip will include lunch, training, and all equipment for eight people.

Hike with the Experts
Let’s hit the trails! Have you ever wondered how some of your favorite trails were built and maintained? Join EarthCorps on a scenic hike on a nearby trail in Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the region we call home while getting the “inside scoop” on how EarthCorps crews help to construct and maintain trails. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the flora, fauna and natural history of the region. Depending on your needs, the options for adventure are plenty. We’ll bring the snacks, lunch, and any needed gear- all you need to do is choose which 5 people will join you!

Become a Corps Member
Missed your opportunity to serve as an EarthCorps Corps Member? Now’s your chance to get your hands dirty on one of our technical restoration projects. Join one of our hardworking crews for a day of work and learn firsthand what it takes to restore parks, forests, and other natural areas around the region. You and one guest could help save orcas by removing toxic creosote-coated logs from Puget Sound shorelines, sequester “blue carbon” by restoring wetlands, combat climate change by planting urban forests, or much more. We’ll provide the training and gear to get you looking and feeling like one tough corps member. Our hearty crews make it look easy, but restoration can be tough work, so this experience will include a delicious lunch and transportation. Weekday only.

A Walk in the Park
Ever walk through a park and wish you knew more? Now’s your chance! Grab a friend and take a stroll through a park of your choice with EarthCorps’ senior ecologist Nelson Salisbury. As you make your way through the park’s forest, meadows, or shoreline, you’ll learn about the flora, fauna, and natural history that make this place so special. This is your chance to explore and gain new perspective. A day in the park is never complete without a picnic lunch, and this one is no exception. We’ll provide a lunch of local fare and gear or transportation as needed.

Lunch in the Field
Nothing’s better than lunch in the field! Join a crew of deserving corps members for a gourmet picnic lunch at a restoration project site. Over lunch, you will have the opportunity to connect with corps members from around the globe, learn what inspires them to be part of the restoration movement, and hear how they have grown as leaders through the EarthCorps corps program. As you tour the restoration site, you will gain firsthand knowledge as to how these hardworking crews of six make the Puget Sound region a healthier place to live. This is one lunch date that will leave you feeling full (of inspiration!) Weekday only.
