Volunteering is a great way to get involved in your community and to make new friends. EarthCorps provides volunteer opportunities for individuals and/or groups to work on trails, remove invasive plants, and plant native species. See photos and read volunteer reviews on our sample events page.

Need to complete Service Learning hours for school credit? Get started today by signing up for one or several of the events listed below in our Volunteer Calendar.
EarthCorps supplies gloves, tools, water, light refreshments and volunteer education that covers safety, information on the park you are working in, forest health, environmental restoration and the overview of the project. We suggest that volunteers dress in layers of older clothes that include long pants, long sleeve shirt and a jacket. Durable footwear such as work boots, hiking boots or running shoes are recommended for these events. These events take place rain or shine so please come prepared for the weather. Bring a lunch/snack if you would like as well as a water bottle and a coffee cup/travel mug for refreshments.
Transportation to EarthCorps Volunteer events:
We encourage volunteers to carpool or utilize public transportation to our events. You can use King County Metro Online to plan your trip.
Individuals and/or organizations interested in participating in volunteer events can contact Chris LaPointe, Volunteer Program Manager at volunteer
